Hi, I’m Bhaskar, presenter of Bollywood Lounge, every Saturday on Radio XL. I’m an engineer by day and being a radio presenter is my Saturday job! I’ve now been part of the XL team for 2½ years. My love for Hindi music and Bollywood films stems from childhood, so presenting a Bollywood show was almost inevitable. On Bollywood Lounge, I bring you a mix of great Hindi music, Bollywood news and information about the latest releases. What makes my show special is my in-depth knowledge and passion for Bollywood, covering everything from the classics to the latest films. I’m a fun-loving family man and outside of radio my interests include gyming, reading, music and movies. I’m also a bit of a Bollywood collector — I have over 1,500 Bollywood VHS tapes and more than 600 Bollywood DVDs! I also enjoy participating in charity events such as the Wolf Run, raising money for good causes. One thing listeners might be surprised to know about me is that I have a YouTube channel dedicated to retro Bollywood trailers. It’s another way for me to share my love of classic Bollywood and its incredible history.
