DJ Aashiqui

DJ Aashiqui presents Love Express on Radio XL, broadcasting from the heart of Birmingham. I am Aashiqui, affectionately known as the Queen of Hearts, and I've been a familiar voice on Radio XL 1296AM for the last 26 years.

Every Sunday from 10pm to 1am, I present 'Love Express', a lively mix of Hindi and Punjabi music, romantic melodies alongside relationship banter and the following engaging features: - Love Topic
- Love Song of the Week
- Love Story
- Lovescopes
and not forgetting my DosTEA with me segment, where I chat with singers, artists and special guests.
I hope my listeners find me warm, approachable and full of positive energy because I love connecting with them and celebrating love, life and relationships.

A surprising fact about me? Away from the microphone, I am also a passionate community volunteer and award-winning charity leader, dedicated to making a difference in people's lives. But for now ..... All aboard the Love Express! The ticket is FREE.
