My name is Shafiq Zaman, and I have been a radio presenter since 1995. I host the Mirpuri Potohari Show every Saturday from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm, where I play a mix of Pakistani songs and take requests from listeners. I enjoy connecting with people through music and conversation and always try to make every show fun and entertaining. I mainly present in Mirpuri and Potohari, but I also speak Punjabi, Hindi and English. Away from the studio, I enjoy travelling, spending time with my family, and watching Bollywood and Lollywood films. I would like to think of myself as a friendly, energetic and humorous person who loves making people smile. Radio has been a big part of my life for many years, and I am proud to continue entertaining and bringing our community together through music.

I’m Shazad Iqbal Mughal, and I have been involved in broadcasting for over 25 years, working across television, national and international media, and radio. I have a strong passion for local, national and international news and current affairs and I bring important stories and real-world issues to my programme, Talk Time Live, every Wednesday 11am to 1pm. Some people may describe me as a hardcore broadcaster — and I’m proud to ask difficult questions and challenge opinions but ultimately allowing people to make up their own minds. Yes, I can sometimes be argumentative — but my approach is based on facts, statistics, figures and evidence. In TALK TIME LIVE, we bring you the real issues that affect our communities across the UK and around the world.

Hi Radio XL listeners I'm Sunita and let me tell you a little about my shows. Tune into my Sunday morning show Sunhara Sawera between 9am and 12 midday and my Discussion Show on Mondays 11am to 1pm. On Sundays you will get heaps of entertainment from news reviews to carefully selected music compilations. And not forgetting my special features like Sargam -Music based on raags and Geet ?? kahani. Now , something about myself. I joined Radio XL in 2004 and I still love presenting my shows and connecting with the community. Apart from radio my other passions are reading and any music -related activity including antakshri. I would say I was friendly and fun-loving. Fun fact about myself ? Did you know I can speak 3 Asian languages - Hindi, Gujarati and Kanad And I love dancing - I'm trained in the classic Indian Bharatanatyam.
