Celebrating a massive 38-year legacy in music and almost 3 decades with Radio XL, I am veteran presenter Johno Irie, bringing you musical entertainment across the airwaves.

Broadcasting in English, I host two weekend shows packed with non-stop music, live mixes, and listener shoutouts: "Friday Night Throwback" on Friday nights from 10pm to Midnight featuring iconic ’80s, ’90s, and ’00s anthems, and "Desi Dance Beats" on Saturdays from 7pm to 9pm with a high-octane fusion of Punjabi, Bollywood, disco and dance tunes from all genres.

What makes my shows unique ? Well... it is the live-on-the-fly mixing and lifelong vinyl roots , supercharged for dance floor party lovers.
Music has been my life-long passion through which there is a power to unite diverse communities. A surprising fun fact is that I'm still hunting down rare vinyl, with a massive collection to show for it.
My absolute favourite XL memory is hosting the Lord Mayor’s Show in front of a massive live crowd!
